Borinorge is a platform for people who live in Norway or are building a life here. We offer community resources, projects, and events that help you navigate Norwegian society.
Everyone can use Borinorge. Registration is free and open to anyone interested in the community.
Click "Register", enter your email address and password, and confirm your account with the code you receive by email.
Check your spam folder. If the code does not appear, you can request a new code on the confirmation screen.
You can delete your account under Settings → Delete account. All personal data is removed permanently.
The Supporter plan costs NOK 49/month and gives access to live-streamed meetups, practical tips about work and everyday life, AI tools and digital skills, help with learning Norwegian, and early access to new materials.
Go to Profile → Subscription and follow the instructions to cancel. Access remains active until the end of the payment period.
We use Stripe for payment processing. Cards (Visa, Mastercard) and other Stripe-supported methods are accepted.
Nettverk is a collection of Telegram community groups organized by city — Oslo, Bergen, and more. Here you can connect with other Ukrainians in your area.
Yes, Nettverk is available to all users on the free plan.
Meetups are live-streamed events where we discuss life in Norway — practical tips about work, everyday life, Norwegian language learning, and much more.
Meetups are available to Supporters. Go to the Meetup page and send a participation request by email. Meetings are announced in advance.
In May 2023, a Borinorge team translated the user interface of ordbøkene.no into Ukrainian, making Norwegian dictionaries available to Ukrainian users. The work was supported by the University of Bergen and the Language Council of Norway. An updated version was launched in April 2024.

The website is available in Bokmål (nb), Nynorsk (nn), English (en), Russian (ru), and Ukrainian (uk). You can switch language in the navigation menu.
